4 Bedroom Villa in Ciboure

When requesting a reservation, please specify the composition of your group (number of couples, single people and their years) to ensure that the apartment can accommodate you in terms of sleeping arrangements.
In case of new confinement, the deposit paid will be fully refunded.
The rentals are made in high season preferably from Saturday to Saturday. Any particular request can be studied in low season with however a minimum duration of 5 nights.
The garden being in places very sloping, we prefer not to accept children from 2 to 12 years old in order to avoid any incident.
Classified as a Four Star Tourist Furnished ****, the villa "Cordilleta" located at the beach of Socoa, is an architect's house built in 1998 at the bottom of the hill of Bordagain sea side in Ciboure, in the district Socoa, on ground fenced 1400m2.
All amenities within walking distance; Cordilleta avenue is a dead end which means there are few passers cars.
You will have:
1) On the ground floor
3 free parking spaces in the villa grounds
Bedroom 1 with 140 bed and private bathroom n °1.
Bedroom 2 with queen size bed and shared bathroom with bedroom n°3.
Bedroom 3 with 140 bed and shared bathroom 2 with bedroom n°2.
Bedroom 4 with 1 bed 160 or 2 beds 80 to be specified when booking and bathroom n °3.
Large communal entrance hall with comfortable convertible sofa 140 (Dunlopillo mattress 21cm) .
Large wooden terrace covered by a blind, equipped with 2 garden tables + benches.
Laundry and boiler
2) on the floor:
Cellar, full kitchen overlooking dining / living room with large flat screen TV + home theater, French / American billiards, contemporary fireplace.
Large covered terraces overlooking the Bay of Ciboure / St Jean de Luz, equipped with teak garden furniture and double electric plancha, heated swimming pool with swim againt the current, jacuzzi and ping-pong table.
Finally, relaxation is guaranteed in the combined swimming pool with massage jets (29°) and jacuzzi (35° to 37°), which is open from 1 June to 30 September, depending on the weather, for your hydrotherapy treatments or aquagym classes.
For your convenience, we take care of a daily 15-minute preparation of the pool at an early hour without disturbing you. ( sweeping the wooden deck and the protective cover, checking the water quality, vacuuming, cleaning the filters, etc.)
Bottom sheets, fitted sheets, comforters, pillowcases, towels and tea towels are included in the rent; are not included beach towels.
We want our tenants comply equipment and facilities available to them and wish that the house be returned in the same condition as that taken at the beginning of stay.
Pets are not allowed.
The house is non smoking but balcony terrace is available !!
Finally, a rental contract will be established when booking the rental.

Summary: My wife and I have rented many houses and villas through VRBO over the years. They have been uniformly good to excellent. But Marylene and Daniel’s villa overlooking the bay in St Jean de Luz is one of the best ever. Starting with the booking process, their communication was thorough, timely, and cordial. On our arrival, they gave us the most comprehensive tour/orientation we’ve ever had. The house itself is gorgeous, tastefully appointed, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything we could ever need for a week’s stay. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and has plenty of amenities (pool, outdoor spa, pool table, fireplace) to please pretty much anyone. Finally, the location is within easy walking distance of the beach and a wide selection of good restaurants. We can’t thank Marylene and Daniel enough for sharing their beautiful house with us. We would return again without hesitation.

Summary: We came to Ciboure for a family reunion. The location of the house is perfect! A view of the water on a quiet street. It's an easy walk to a beautiful beach and small town. We also walked to Saint Jean de Luz for a day of shopping and enjoying the restaurants and beach. There are only four bedrooms. It's true there is a sofa bed, but it is in the middle of the downstairs area and all bedrooms open up onto this area, so it is not at all a private bedroom (even though the listing says 5 bedrooms). Since each of the 4 bedrooms only has one bed, the accommodations ended up being a lot tighter than we would have liked. Still, it was worth it-- the upstairs and outdoors was great! We would highly recommend this home.

Summary: We loved our week here! Daniel and Marylene gave us a warm welcome on arrival and explained how everything worked. The villa has everything you could need and is really beautiful and comfortable, with lots of different places to sit and enjoy the lovely view of Ciboure harbor. We were a party of 10 adults/grown up children and had plenty of space. The driveway with remote control gate was great for our 2 rental cars, although we barely used them. We also loved the hot tub and the kitchen which was very well equipped. We hardly felt the need to go anywhere, it was such a pleasant place to "hang out", so as well as playing ping pong and pool at the villa, we mainly went to the local beach, which is a 2 minute walk and explored the Soccoa fort area. Also there were a lot of restaurants in the town that we enjoyed - awesome fresh seafood - and the Carrefour express down the road had all the groceries we needed, as well as the boulangeries for fresh baguettes and croissants every morning. Nearby St Jean de Luz is a bigger and more lively - also very picturesque - we walked there one day to watch the world cup in a cafe in the pedestrianized center - a lot of fun. And the kids walked there one evening and had a great time. Overall highly recommended! Hope to come back!

Summary: The house is well equipped with many places to eat inside or out. Internally it has a well equipped kitchen and it all feels pretty much like brand new. The Hot Tub under the palm tree with a view of the harbor is a wow feature. 4 Good sized Bedrooms all well decorated. We enjoyed using the poole table and Table tennis table. But would say this is aimed at adults and or with teenager plus aged children. The site is steeply sloped as it states. The only negative because all the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs living area upstairs you have to go down stairs every time you need to go to the toilet. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay - hosts were friendly and helpful
